The Island's biggest summer season show showcasing a packed timetable of stage & arena events, over three hundred commercial stalls, fairground rides, classic cars, delicious goodies to die for and a selection of chart-topping acts. The world famous Isle of Wight garlic flavours everything, from warm crusty bread to moules, sweetcorn, prawns & lamb, to draught beer, ice cream, snacks, olives, espresso & lots more, changing 'lunchtime' into an all-day experience to indulge in.
British Powerboat Festival 2010
Cowes will once again be host to the Cowes to Torquay powerboat race which is one of the greatest motorsport spectacles.
Originally founded by Sir Max Aitken, in 1961, who brought the concept from the USA helped improve the design and performance of power boats in the UK, inspiring companies such as Sunseeker Yachts based in Poole Dorset.
Many locals say that Fort Victoria on the Isle of Wight is a very good vantage point as boast pass close by.
